• Account Credentials: Email address and encrypted passwords provided during registration.
• Uploaded Study Materials: Textbook sections, lecture slides, or PDF notes that you upload for study purposes.
• Usage Analytics: Interactivity logs, quizzes solved, study roadmaps created, and level progress metrics.
• Device Details: Operating system version, device model, and unique tokens for push notifications.

2. How We Use Your Data

We process your personal and educational inputs for the following operations:

• Generating customized study modules, curriculum maps, summaries, and practice questions from your notes.
• Powering secure chatbot tutor sessions that reference only your source materials.
• Debugging application performance issues, optimizing loading speeds, and ensuring system stability.
• Complying with regulatory requirements and protecting against fraudulent activity.

3. Data Retention and Security

Your uploaded study materials and profile information are stored securely on Supabase and Google Cloud servers using AES-256 standard encryption. Your documents are strictly private and are never used to train external public artificial intelligence models. RAG processing is completed in isolated secure sandboxes.

4. Third-Party Disclosures

StudyPal does not sell, lease, or monetize your personal or educational data. Information is only shared with standard infrastructure partners necessary for app functions (e.g. Supabase for encrypted file hosting, Google Vertex APIs for secure model inference).

5. Your Rights
